How much does commercial photography cost?
Every project is custom-quoted based on scope. The number of shoot days, licensing, and number of deliverables all factor into the estimate. Before you reach out, it’s best to know your budget and to be transparent when reaching out to me. I’m able to work within most reasonable budgets by scaling down the licensing terms and shot list.
How far in advance should I book?
Four to six weeks is ideal for most commercial shoots, but I’ve turned around projects in the matter of days depending on the job scope and the amount of pre-production the job entails. Reach out even if your date is close! I’ll tell you honestly what I can make happen.
Do you also shoot video?
Yes. Most of my work these days consists of shooting stills while also directing motion on the same production. That means one crew, one shoot day, and a cohesive library of photography and video built for web, social, and campaigns. It’s the most efficient and effective way to maximize a production budget.
How do corporate headshot days work?
I provides professional, on-site headshot photography that is efficient and minimally disruptive. I bring a compact lighting setup directly to your office and photograph team members in a controlled environment. I have a workflow that allows me to capture 50–70 consistent executive portraits per day without sacrificing quality.
Can you photograph and shoot video inside active industrial and manufacturing facilities safely?
Yes. I am highly experienced in photographing and directing inside active factories, warehouses, and complex production environments. I’ve worked on Alaska’s North Slope and remote fishing communities in the Bering Sea to oil fields in Texas’ Permian Basin.
I prioritize site safety above all else. My team arrives with all necessary PPE (Hard hats, steel-toe boots, safety vests) and is fully prepared to follow OSHA-regulated site guidelines. I am comfortable working from lifts and elevated platforms, ensuring that I capture high-end industrial imagery without interrupting your facility's daily operations.
Do you take editorial assignments from out-of-town clients?
Absolutely! Most of my editorial clients are outside Texas. I'm based in Dallas-Fort Worth and regularly work across Texas with photo editors in New York, D.C., and internationally who need coverage in Texas.
Can you cover breaking news or timely stories in North Texas?
Yes. I specialize in story-driven portraits tied to timely events across Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas. Because I'm local, I can mobilize quickly when something breaks. The earlier you reach out, the more I can make happen.

How long does it take to receive final images?
Proof galleries are typically delivered within a few days of the shoot. Final retouched images are delivered within one or two weeks, depending on project size. Video projects include review rounds to ensure the final edit aligns with your goals.
Do you help with planning and shot lists?
Yes. Pre-production planning is a key part of my process. I work with marketing teams, creative directors, and stakeholders to scout talent, locations, create shot lists, and schedules, so shoot days run smoothly and efficiently. For larger budget shoots, I bring in a producer to help with the day-of production logistics. I’ve worked with the same 2 producers for over 10 years. They are amazing and an integral part of larger shoots.
Can you match previous headshots when new employees join the team?
Yes. My lighting setup and workflow are designed to be repeatable, allowing future headshot sessions to match previous imagery and maintain brand consistency as your team grows.
Who do you typically collaborate with during projects?
I work directly with producers, editors, and creative directors to produce photography and video that supports real-world brand, recruiting, editorial, and communication goals.
Do you travel outside of Dallas-Fort Worth?
Yes. While I am based in Dallas-Fort Worth, I regularly travel for projects when needed and have production assistants across the country to support efficient on-location work. I lived and worked out of Alaska for 10 years and the Big Bend region of Texas for 7 years. I return to both every year to work on assignments.
