Portraits are a powerful way to communicate who you are—professionally, creatively, and personally.

I approach portrait photography with the understanding that these images represent more than a face; they reflect credibility, confidence, and brand identity. Every portrait is designed to make the subject feel at ease while presenting them at their best.

With nearly two decades of experience photographing individuals across industries, I pay close attention to the details that elevate a portrait—light, composition, expression, and environment. A portrait for a creative founder requires a different visual language than one for an executive, physician, or leadership team. Each shoot is approached with intention, ensuring the final images align with both the individual and the context in which they’ll be used.

I work collaboratively with clients to tailor each session, whether photographing a single portrait or building a cohesive series. Sessions can take place on location, in studio, or in environments that naturally support the story you want to tell. From planning and direction to final delivery, the process is efficient, thoughtful, and designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing brand or publication needs.

Working With Jennifer Boomer: What to Expect:

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through my contact form or schedule a call—I will walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way. This initial connection will make sure that our collaboration is a good fit for everyone.

  • Once thewe have signed a contract, I will set-up a production call with you to determine a shoot plan. I will work with you to create an optimized schedule and shot list based on my corporate shoot experience that makes sure you get everything you need. I can also give suggestions that ensure your team is as ready as possible on the shoot day. Communication is key for any successful project, and I strive to make sure all of my corporate clients always are up-to-date on every step of the process. My team and I are available to do a pre-production walk-through of the shoot location.

  • For larger-scale corporate shoots, I prefer to walk the property before our production day(s). I do this to make sure you maximize the content produced on the shoot day. We will walk the location together, determine what spots will be best from a creative standpoint, and iron out any logistical needs before my production team arrives on the day of your photo or video shoot.

  • This is when the magic happens! After all the planning and preparation, it’s time to collaborate together to create your content. My team and I will work with you to create the photography and videography that highlights the story and values of your company. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, and we work hard to make that happen.

We are known for being laid-back and fun on set, which brings out the best in the people I’m photographing and directing. I’ve had a consistent team that has worked with me for over 10 years.

I also have production assistants all over the country that I use for productions outside of Texas, if the budget doesn’t provide travel for my local crew.

Wherever the shoot, we will produce dynamic content that is on brand and on message, while making sure you are happy with all the content before we wrap!

  • After we wrap the shoot, we will deliver your proofs via private online gallery, where you will be able to select your favorite images for final retouching. For video I provide a cut that is easy for you to view and to give feedback.

This typically takes about 1-2 weeks. I work incredibly talented retouchers and editors in NYC that give the images and video the final polish, and I also review all assets to make additional adjustments as needed before final delivery.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. I’m here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and without random, hidden fees. I am detail-oriented and bring a fresh perspective to all of my clients. Most of my clients are repeat clients where we both value relationships and longevity. Quick turn-around times without rush fees.
